A Little About Us

We are a small independent business that create textile and paper goods. All of our pieces are lovingly and carefully handmade in our Melbourne studio in an environmentally responsible manner. We very much enjoy the designing and making process as much as we enjoy the outcome. By making everything ourselves we can print and create our products in smaller quantities to minimise waste. This also means that we can be certain that we are one hundred percent happy with the quality of the products that we create.

In our studio we like to keep things simple so our production is quite low key. It is light on machinery and full of patience, hand and heart. Our two printing method of choice are digital and hand screen printing where all of the processes involved are carried out manually and can be quite slow and labour intensive. We find this to be quite meditative and love the tactile nature and versatility of the process. There is always a great sense of excitement and anticipation before the screen is lifted up to reveal the printed image as there are many factors such as placement, ink quantity and angle and pressure of the blade that determines the unique look of each print.
